It’s time to discuss:
Tim Burton working closely with Disney to recreate the most classic, wonderfully hallucinogenic, trip-tastic cartoon EVER…Alice in Wonderland!!!
Signed onto the project already are (of course) Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter to star as the Mad Hatter and the Red Queen respectively. Anne Hathaway will also be a part of the cast as the White Queen and Mia Wasikowska will play Alice.
Clearly, from the list of characters, this new film will be based closely off of the book, NOT the innocent, whimsical cartoon done previously by Disney. It is also said that the movie will combine human characters as well as Burton’s famous ‘performance-capture technology’ as featured in films such as “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
March 5, 2010 can’t come quick enough!
